Life Outside of Your Dorm Room
Change came to OBOC in a big way with the addition of a pit orchestra and a small skits to fill the spaces between numbers. The songs sounded better with real instrumentation underneath them, and audience members agreed that the skits really moved the show along. Our metric for skits was: “Is this funnier than sitting in the dark waiting for people to change costumes?”

A mention should also go to Samara Schwartz and Gabriel Fanelli for making the pit orchestra a reality, under Alex Georgieff’s leadership. Greg Skipton and Phil Fleisher led the team authoring skits.
