What is OBOC?

OBOC is the University of Rochester’s only musical theater performing group. Each semester, we present a musical revue with numbers from a great variety of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. The revues are produced, directed, choreographed, accompanied with a pit orchestra, musically arranged, costumed, and performed by students.

Auditions play a role in casting several smaller numbers, but the group is open to anyone who enjoys musical theater. As we approach our 15th anniversary, our ranks has swelled to over seventy singers, dancers, and musicians!
